If you are into wholesome stories about a girl and her horse, there are many options out there for you. One of my personal favorites is National Velvet from 1944 because of how stacked the cast is. We've got baby Elizabeth Taylor playing Velvet Brown, a teen girl who, you guessed it, loves horses.
