'The Boy and the Heron' intentionally had almost zero marketing, including trailers, leaks, or cast list until the week before the release of the movie. Hayao Miyazaki has stated that this will be his last film, and we can't help but feel like it's the end of an era.
He was the driving force behind many well-known anime movie masterpieces for the last 30 years, such as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle. We don't know when this movie will be released in the United States, but based on these images, it already looks like a move we're going to love.
