We had a tortie when we were growing up, and she was the best cat we ever had (don't tell our other cats). She was sweet, loved to cuddle, and full of sass to anyone who didn't treat her like the princess she was. Now, they may not be as strange or as wild as orange cats, and they may not have the allure of a beautiful persian cat or a floofy maine coon, but tortoiseshell cats deserve their own time in the spotlight also!
Did you know that torties are almost exclusively female? Also, in some parts of the world, they are considered good luck! Our tortie always brought us good luck, she was the best and most wholesome cat we ever adopted.
