A Dosage of 30 Memes for an Unhinged Monday

One of my best friends and I have a code phrase for when we think that we're going a little crazy. We call it "feeling Popeye's chicken sandwich". The origin for this turn of phrase is a 2019 video edit of what is possibly the crowning achievement of mukbang YouTuber Nikocado Avocado's career. The premise is that he's trying to eat the aforementioned item in his car, but he is distracted by having a full-blown emotional meltdown.

Even for those of us whose career doesn't involve chowing down in front of the camera (and who are not prone to yelling at good Samaritan animal lovers), it's a truly relatable jaunt through the range of irrational emotions one feels when everything seems to be going wrong. It's something worth meditating on during the promise of Monday morning. So are these memes, here to distract you from whatever trials and tribulations may come your way today.
