I really have a problem with my generation being so terrified of aging. I'm well aware that before Gen Z came along, people were taking wild cosmetic preventative measures against the aging process. However, the manner in which my fellow-early twenty-somethings discuss people as young as 26 is very alarming to me. There is no world where being in your 20s, 30s, or even 40s is old. In my honest opinion, you do not become old until you can order the senior meals at IHOP. You do not shrivel up and become an old hag when you turn 23. We are not in an 1800s aristocratic family, and we are not courting for marriage at 18. We all must stop acting like age is a detriment and remember that it is a gift. If you've lived to the age you are, you're luckier than many, and you should feel glad you're around to enjoy these funny memes.
