As a millennial, I came of age on the early internet, which was a pretty unique time to be online. At the time, it was possible to navigate forums and chat rooms completely anonymously, and you better believe my trollish little friends and I took full advantage of that. The character I liked to play online was an Italian-American plumber named Mike (yes, inspired by Mario). I'd get into heated arguments in-character with strangers in the Something Awful forums, and in retrospect, everyone could probably by my terrible grammar and immature arguments that they were fighting with a thirteen-year-old.
The tradition of kids being idiots online continues in comment sections all across the internet, and we've put together a collection of screenshots in honor of all the hilariously dumb comments out there.
