For quite a while now, it's been a popular trend to comment on a niche yet relatable TikTok with words to the effect of none of us ever having a truly unique experience. I think there's an element of truth to this. For all that many of us have grown up in a society that prizes the individual, human beings are more or less similar to one another. Most people probably have thousands of personality doppelgangers around the world.
The popularity of memes only makes this more apparent. The fact that a significant proportion of us are all chuckling to the same things just goes to show that we have more in common that we might think. Of course, not everyone has the same sense of humor, but a lot of us have an overlap. That's pretty cool, and we shouldn't take that interconnectedness for granted — even with a list like this.
