Everyone knows that cats and dogs don't get along, right? Well, they're wrong. It's true that there are a whole lot of behavioral differences between cattos and doggos, but in reality, cats and dogs can be best friends! Even creatures so different, when they spend enough time in each other's company, can grow to love one another. Heck, we should learn something from cat and dog friendships as humans too.
Plus, it's adorable. Seeing cats and dogs cuddling, defying expectations by being so close to one another, is heartwarming on another level. It's like the best treat for both cat people and dog people - double the cuteness, double the wholesomeness, double the awws, plus a dose of hope for humanity while we're at it. We don't even need to tell you to please enjoy this, because we already know you will!

"Our cat is 8 and our first pet together, we now have a 4 year old lab who is very sweet but doesn't seek affection and a 7 month old golden retriever who is pure chaos and destruction, but the biggest snuggle bug in the world. We got him at 8 weeks old and it was rough going getting him to understand kitty is not a plaything. We always joke that our cat did more puppy raising than we did, and it's finally paying off. They fall asleep like this often, and the puppy will curl himself around the cat like this to sleep. I count myself lucky to have such sweet boys."
"Both of the cats love the big dog, and he loves to play fight them. He'll tap them with his paw until they play fight him. Usually then he'll roll on his back and let them attack his neck.
What's really weird is he is great at playing with the cats, but he has no idea how to play with other dogs. He doesn't even understand roughhousing when I try to do that with him."
