27 Cool Cosplays That Satisfy Our Geeky Appetite

There's nothing like walking into a Comic-Con and seeing everyone's cosplays that they've been working on all year. From low-budget and hilarious to ultra-detailed armors with lifelike proportions, it's truly an art form and definitely deserves its time in the spotlight. And, one of the best things about it is that the cosplay community is so inclusive and appreciates anyone who puts in some effort, so matter how well executed it is. 

This list of amazingly cool cosplays has inspired us, made us laugh, and honestly, kind of made us want to get into cosplay seriously. It's like devoting yourself to one character (maybe from your favorite comic book) that you want to pay your respects to. You don't have to spend months and months making a giant sword and armor to go with it, but as long as you put your heart into it, we're sure everyone will be as impressed with it as we are with the pictures in this post. That being said though, these ones here definitely did take months and months. Think we have enough time to make one for next year?

    How? You have to do some hard convincing that this isn't some digital art. This cosplay is flawless! From the symbiote fingernails to the hood, even the tears of the red Spiderman costume showing through. WOW!

    A "simpler" one, but the makeup for this cosplay must have taken hours. Do you have any idea how long it takes to paint teeth on your face? We'll give you a clue, it takes a long time. We hope she didn't get a toothache after this!
