It seems like every time I turn on my PS5, one of my games has a huge update to do before I can play. We're not teenagers anymore, so when it comes to gaming, every single second counts! I'm an adult, I don't have time to sit around and wait for a 60GB LIVE update to load on so that I can play the campaign of a game I've owned for over a decade. Obviously, gamers have a lot of qualms with gaming, but for me, this has got to be the most irksome. Stop changing everything!

But even after 30 minutes of hanging around for the update, as the loading screen finally boots back up and I hear the familiar jingle of the navigation screen, I'm drawn back to my console like a moth to a flame. The game is on, once again. All we can do is hope our favorite load-out wasn't nerfed and hop back into the line of fire like time is of the essence. Maybe we'll waste away into the wee hours like we always do, wiping Cheeto dust from our controller at 3AM and telling our friends online, 'one more game'.
