Today I woke up ridiculously tired, as I was pretty sick these last few days, so my brain was making this fuzzy sound I can't quite explain, and ideas for content just were not there. So I asked my boyfriend, 'What should I write about? I am completely and utterly exhausted and the atoms in my brain are taking the day off, even though they promised to show up to their shift'. He replied, 'Well, just tell them about yesterday'.

So, I will tell you all about yesterday. My boyfriend and I were supposed to meet up, but he came down with the flu. Now, the 'flu', for men, is apparently what we women would call 'nothing', as he did not sniffle once, but still managed to complain about how he was feeling 'slightly' meh, and maybe he should go to the doctor. I was like, 'Are you crazy', but I did not want any blame to be placed on me in case anything was in fact wrong, so instead I took a scooter and drove over to his house, brought him a jar of honey, tea, and a healthy bean soup.

He looked at me sheepishly and said thank you, and I cuddled him all night. Now, guess who is ACTUALLY sick? Me! And guess who is being a martyr about it? Me! Sigh, we women do not get enough credit. That is all for today, folks, my boyfriend just thought I should tell the internet how hilarious the whole thing was, but I guess I will find it funny later… maybe after some honey, tea, and a healthy bean soup.
