I feel like the kind of person who is seeking out a list like this is accustomed to the act of viewing memes. They're not opening up a new tab in their phone and stumbling like a baby calf across the wide pastures of meme creating internet, they are seeking the most efficient way of receiving the entertainment that they want.

As such, they expect few surprises. A list like this doesn't really have a beginning middle and end, but as a whole it washes over you in a fairly predictable way. You see the memes, you process the memes, and you wait for the next batch of memes. Simple! There's a rhythm to it that is comforting, even if the content involved can't always lay claim to that adjective. When you've come this far riding the wave of the internet, it makes a nice change from all the other ridiculous things that it amplifies.
