Sometimes relationships take a long time to come to light. Maybe it's because of commitment issues, or it could just be bad timing, or whatever. But sometimes it takes years of being "just friends" before it becomes clear that you were never truly just friends. "Just friends" don't stare lovingly into each other's eyes and share meaningful conversations with each other for hours while spooning. If you just read that and thought, "pfft, you just don't have a close friend like mine!" Then let this be your wake up call: That is more than a friend, honey. 

Take all the time you need, babe. Sometimes you need trick yourself into thinking you're "just friends" to allow your heart to trust. Many of us have been there before. Heck, I'd be lying if I said I never have. That moment when it all clicks and you're like, "wait… wait… uh oh." Is not as scary as you might think, it's actually really cute.
