These challenges resulted in a significant amount of excused time away from class, all approved by her doctor and the head of school. However, one of the vice principals took issue with these absences and essentially made it his mission to punish OP for missing class. After trying to force her into mandatory detention, OP's Mom (who really comes across as a hero in this situation) intervened and put this guy in his place.
