'Can I just... "accidentally" knock the cake over?': 20+ ways to ruin a wedding

So much can go wrong at a wedding. Tensions are running high, everyone's stressed, and lots of money is often involved. Recently, I officiated a friend's wedding and felt the pressure first-hand for the first time. Not only could so much go wrong objectively but also I could be the one to mess everything up. And of course, it's impossible for your brain not to go to that place where you're like, "What if I said this instead of what I'm supposed to say? what if I just up and left right now and suddenly there was no officiant?" Obviously, I would never do this to my friend, but when the pressure is on, your mind considers all the horrible outcomes, or at least, my mind does. That's the inevitable struggle of an anxious person.

These folks shared all the possible ways you could ruin a wedding via this r/AskReddit thread, and to be honest, I may or may not have thought about certain folks in the wedding party pulling this kind of nonsense. For more content like this, here's a story about a coworker who hijacked a wedding.

    Font - JoanDZhang 1 day ago . Pastry Chef here. I used to do a lot of wedding cakes, and would have to move them to wherever the couple wanted it displayed. I always had a fantasy, if I ever decided to quit, walk out, to purposely drop the cake in front of the wedding party and act like it was an accident, and just burst out in tears and storm out, never to be seen again.
