Wednesday Mlemsday: 30 Hissterical House Cats With Their Tongues Out For A Hilarious Hump Day

Happy Hump Day, fellow I Can Has-ers, and welcome to Mlemsday! We know that Wednesday is probably the hardest day of the week, so we need an extra helping of cute cats today to help us make it through the day. And what could possibly be cuter than a bunch of cats caught mid-blep? Whether they're totally zonked out like sleeping beauties or just forgot to put their tongue back inside, these fabulous felines are making our days a little bit better one mlem at a time.

Why do cats blep? It's one of life's great mysteries, but we have a few theories. It might be the human equivalent of licking your lips, or perhaps they suddenly discovered something that sparked an adorable existential crisis, and then simply forgot to put their tongue back inside. Whatever the reason, it's funny and adorable, and it helps us get through the day on a more pawsitive note. We hope it does for you as well!
