01
Do contract missions regularly
While you may be tempted to mainline the story missions in Assassin's Creed Mirage, returning to the bureau to regularly pick up new contract missions will benefit you. The rewards you get for completing these missions are sometimes the best ways to gather upgrade materials, skill points, and tokens. Spend a good amount of time just knocking away at these, and you can line your pockets with useful items to noticeably improve your gear and skills.

02
Upgrade your tools before your gear
Kind of connected to the previous tip: you should continually be looking to upgrade your tools as you play. After gathering enough materials, you should use them to upgrade your tools. In most cases, you should do this before upgrading your gear (sword, dagger, or outfit).
We haven't found gear upgrades to be too substantial yet, plus you will have these tools for the rest of your playing time. You can easily find a favorite in your sleep darts, throwing knives, or bombs, but you will likely come across a sword you like better than the one you are using now.

03
Sell your trinkets
After pickpocketing and looting every container around you, you will have plenty of trinkets on your person. They don't serve any purpose other than to be sold to a trader. Find someone to sell them to, and you can increase your Dirham numbers exponentially.

04
Use Eagle Vision regularly
Eagle Vision is often your best friend in most puzzles and stealth combat sections. With a quick press of the button, you can see all enemies around you, note where chests and other lootable containers are, and find important markers like breakable walls and oil jars. It's always important to have information, and Eagle Vision can often reveal important items you didn't even consider using in the first place.

05
Don’t forget about Enkidu
If you have not played the recent Assassin's Creed games in Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla, you will be unfamiliar with the bird companions that have become a staple feature. Just like its predecessors, Enkidu is incredibly useful to you. Before entering a base filled with enemies, let Enkidu fly around and use them to mark every enemy and important spot in the area. Along with Eagle Vision, this will make sure you have all the information you need before infiltrating a location filled with guards.

06
Pickpocket everyone
Basim starts Assassin's Creed Mirage as a common thief, and you should carry that expertise with him forward into his assassin life. Anytime you see anyone with a small pouch on their back, you should pickpocket them. In most cases, the mini-game that decides if they notice you or not is very easy. Even if you mess it up, run away from them before a guard is called over and wait for them to settle down before trying again. This is a great way to fill your inventory with trinkets.

07
Get away from your last known location
When you are fleeing from guards, you may notice a golden outline of Basim appear near you as you try to hide. This denotes your last known location, and you should immediately get away from this as soon as possible to lower your heat. While guards in past games were generally pretty dumb when it came to looking for you, they do a better job of checking hiding places and areas you might have dipped into, which can start a whole new fight all over again.

08
Stockpile your tokens
Scholar, Power, and Merchant Favor tokens are obtained by completing contract missions or pickpocketing people. While you can use these to get certain people to help you, we recommend saving them up first. For example, you can use Merchant tokens to lower prices at traders, and certain chests in the game require some of these tokens to be opened. You can avoid spending your Power tokens to remove your notoriety by tearing wanted posters down.

09
Synchronize viewpoints early
Synchronizing viewpoints have been a feature of Assassin's Creed since the beginning. Climbing tall structures and pressing a button to reveal the immediate surrounding area on your map is just too useful to pass up. It also unlocks fast travel, making it much easier to quickly get around Baghdad than running the entire time. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the area and regularly taking breaks from the story to explore and set up your viewpoints.
