If you don't understand how extremely draining and annoying it is to be a customer service phone representative, then maybe it's time you take a good look in the mirror. Perhaps you're the Karen? This job requires you to sit on the phone all day long and listen to people complain, mostly entitled people demanding things they don't even pay for, and you're expected to keep your cool the entire time and be "helpful."
You think the service industry attracts super Karens, these call centers are bursting with phone calls from Karens demanding to talk to a the supervisor. It's honestly painful to even think about. An ex-employee at a customer service call center recently posted a very satisfying Karen experience during their time on the phone decks.
This person had already put in their two weeks and were trying to stick it out so they could leave on good terms. She hated the job, but she didn't want to burn any bridges. Finally, it was her last day and she just couldn't go by scot-free: A Karen called. This Karen wouldn't let her get one word in and kept yelling at her. Eventually, she pulled the classic Karen line and demanded she talk to a supervisor. Usually, OP would have probably just found a supervisor to deal with her, but this was her last day and her last care.
She told this Karen OFF and explained that she was most definitely not going to connect her to a supervisor. The Karen kept trying to throw a fit, so OP said "goodbye" and hung up on her. She didn't even hide that she didn't keep her cool to this Karen. She marched on over to her manager, told them exactly what happened, and clocked out for the last time. She was over it and didn't even care about working the rest of her last day and the manager, thankfully, understood.
