How to Get the House of Wisdom Gear Chest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

If you want to outfit yourself with the best weapons and armor in Assassin's Creed Mirage, you must open gear chests. Not only do you unlock swords, daggers, and armor this way, but you will also find plenty of upgrade schematics doing this. These gear chests are often hidden in particular buildings, with some being rather tough to access. That's the case within the House of Wisdom. You spend plenty of time here, with a chest hidden behind a locked door. Got to love the joy of locked doors in video games. The gear chest at the House of Wisdom in Assassin's Creed Mirage is located directly back from the entrance at the top of the building. This is the northwestern portion of this area.

Make your way to the rooftop. We prefer to start by climbing the scaffolding near the center court. The rooftop area is covered with guards, so be sure to use the busses around the area to sneak by safely.

Go into the tower to find the locked door you need to get by. Directly across from the door is a note telling you a student is holding the key.

The student you need to find is east of the tower. If you need to, use Enkidu to spot the key. While staying on the roof, look for stairs to walk up, and you will see an astronomer in green robes. Pickpocket him to find the key.

Now can access the room, but you still need to break away a ceiling to get to the chest. Return to the tower and use the lift near the door to ascend the outside of the tower. On the northern side, activate Eagle Vision and look through the window to see a pulley holding a chandelier up. Use a throwing knife on it to make it land on oil jars and open the room more.

Return to the locked door in the tower and go inside. Climb the ladders to find a newly opened room. Opening this chest will reward you with the Abbasid Knight Sword or a schematic to upgrade it if you already have it.
