It's an exciting time when you buy your first home. It's a rare thing for people these days, so anyone who is able to be a homeowner all on there own should be applauded. When looking for a new home you have to check the usual things: finance, the house's condition, the politics of the neighborhood, etc. One thing people tend to forget that is also an important bullet point to keep on your house shopping list is checking out the neighbors.
Unfortunately, it would appear this newest homeowner did not meet her neighbors before moving in and learned the hard way that she just moved in next to a Karen. Her reddit post paints a bright and clear red flag. Her friend had dropped a substantial amount of cash on her driveway. She went back to check the cameras to try and find it and saw a woman driving up to her driveway, hoping out, and taking the cash. She posted on the community facebook asking for whoever it is to come forward. The woman did and instead of apologizing, she called OP rude and made it seem like she was entitled for that cash. The old fashion "finders keepers" law. Turns out that woman is her next door neighbor… Yikes!
