I have mixed opinions on surprises. On the one hand, I feel like I enjoy most unexpected happenings that break up the general monotony of life. On the other, these aren't always going to be things that are much fun. I guess it boils down to something as obvious as liking it when times are good and not when they're bad, but it's not quite that simple. Sometimes we get surprised with something we thought we really wanted, and it doesn't turn out like we thought. Or, something horrible happens but in the end, it leads to a positive change.

True to their meaning, surprises are unpredictable. So are memes, and that's part of the reason that we come back to them continuously. Whether we enjoy them or not is a matter of personal taste. Whatever option you choose, at least they have contributed to you avoiding boredom for a little longer.
