Shadowboxing and shadowboxes are very different, but at least they have one thing in common: they're real. Still, it would be a shame to somehow end up helping your kid with shadowboxing when they were assigned a shadowbox project at school. That would probably end up with a very worried 4th-grade teacher when, instead of showing off their nifty arts and crafts project, your kid started throwing down moves in class.

  • Speaking of shadowy boxes that may or may not exist, let's turn to the subject of this guy's imaginary box. The box that the storage facility he was using to store his extra loot swore was definitely real. The facility repeatedly insisted that he pay for its storage despite his repeated insistence that it wasn't there. But the chance for a little evening of the scale came when he went to get his stuff, and the storage facility was, predictably, unable to find the nonexistent box.     Font - box and they can't do anything about it, despite me being explicitly clear in all my correspondence that there was no 8th box. Now that they've asked for confirmation that I received all my boxes, I said that after two months, I still haven't received the final box. I got my delivery charges refunded as a goodwill gesture (not that I would go back to them ever) but the satisfaction now lies in the idea they are tramping

    Font - around the warehouse trying to find a box that doesn't exist. If they still haven't found the non existent box by Month 3 I might just as well demand reimbursement for no loss on my part (aside from the extreme annoyance I suffered throughout this unpleasant ordeal).

    Font - MrSurly Not quite the same thing, but: Before I bought my house, it was rented out, and the rental was managed by some management company. Moving day comes, and the house was still full of furniture (it was rented as a "furnished unit").
