Font - to, even though our logins are initial caps, and it's easier without. But they do it. I'm civilized, so I turn it off. One manager, though, resents me

Font - for it, heavily. I MUST have caplsock on. I tell her "no." Power tripping ensues. So she took apart the capslock key, thinking that this will force me to use all caps all the time, bending to her capslock will.

Font - Reboot. Capslock is off and she can't turn it on because she destroyed the key. She hasn't used the computer since.

Font - wolverinedoctorwho I think I'm too young for this post. You type everything at work in all caps?? Do you send all emails like "GREETINGS SANDRA, AS PER MY LAST EMAIL, OUR MEETING WILL BE MONDAY AT 5PM"? And that's...cool??

Font - I'm older Gen Z and if I got a job where everyone typed everything in all caps I think I'd assume I was either on a reality TV prank show or working for a supervillain lol

Font - I wonder if anyone else would use caps lock all the time if it weren't for this woman. I imagine she demanded everyone do this in the same way she demanded of OP and everyone except OP just accepted that's how it is... sad

Happy - ThornOfQueens I'm 46 and I would complain to HR about a hostile work environment. My manager is always SHOUTING AT ME!

Font - GargoyleNoises I'm a young millennial and my workplace uses all caps too. Threw me through a loop at first because it totally reads like we're all p Loff and being super passive-aggressive lol "HEY ALL, JUST AS A REMINDER, OUR MEETING WILL START IN 15 MINUTES. THANKS :)" is a totally normal thing that would show up in chat.

Font - G wolverinedoctorwho Karkat... I really do wonder how the people sending those messages hear the text in their head. Bc even when it's positive I just imagine the person standing two feel away from me and speaking in full Theatre Projection Mode lol

Font - natemasterofdungeons. Had an older coworker who typed in all caps. She said it made it easier to read. Management had to talk to her like a dozen times to get her to type normal

Font - Glad-Hospital6756 I love this lol Yeah I have a lot of older relatives (70-80 years old) that have worked in tech for their entire career and them typing in all caps was never a problem in my lifetime lol I think some of them just genuinely don't know

Font - Philosemen69 WELL PLAYED. NOW, YOU NEED TO FIND A WAY TO PUT HER IN CAPSLOCK REVERSE. a MODE WHERE ANY LETTER THAT SHOULD BE UPPER CASE, IS AUTOMATICALLY IN LOWER CASE. THAT WOULD BE SO COOL!!!
