  "I didn't know they were a bonded pair at first. I'm not sure if it's like this everywhere but I've only ever seen older cats that are being rehomed put together as bonded pairs. I think with littermates they will separate them so they get adopted easier. Even with how cute these guys are they were at the shelter for months. Of course it's heartbreaking to separate them but they also don't wanna live at a shelter their whole lives so I can understand why they do it"

We are making sure that the two are separate so that way with they can get used to each other's smells and that way they also have the two different areas of the house that is like their safe place before they can commune in the living room."
