Su Yun was on vacation with her family when she thought she bought a Tibetan mastiff puppy. Tibetan mastiffs are huge, they can grow up to 150 pounds and were typically used as guard dogs for centuries due to their large and intimidating nature. However, as her 'puppy' grew, she couldn't help but notice its insatiable appetite. It just kept growing and growing, and then it started standing on two legs sometimes! After two years and 250 pounds later, Su Yun contacted the local animal authorities. Turns our her puppy was actually an Asiatic black bear!
Don't you just hate it when that happens? We know that bears are cute and friend-shaped, but they probably shouldn't be kept as pets. Su Yun did the right thing, and they were able to find a solution for her very large puppy. So next time you're in the market for a cute, fluffy puppy, just double-check to make sure it's not actually a bear, first!

We could see how a bear cub could pass as one of these fluffy beasts. We mean, look at it! It's enormous, and kind of bear-like. Actually, it looks more like a melanistic lion, but the details don't really matter here - even as puppies they must be enormous!
Really, you didn't hear the 'dog' bark for two years, and you were still wondering if it was really a dog? Don't bear paws and dog paws look different? Bears have thumbs for goodness sake! Well, not really thumbs, but closer to thumbs than dogs do. We're calling bologna on this one!
