Everyone has a friend who has a clever side hustle that you yourself could never pull off. The only exception, of course, is if you are the friend with the clever side hustle. People really are creative with how they make their money these days. After all, we don't really have much of a choice. No one is getting paid enough via their main source of income, so how could you not consider other options to support yourself further? The most creative of hustlers have discovered a way to get those extra bucks while doing the bare minimum. 

These folks shared the craziest ways they've heard of people making extra money via this r/AskReddit thread. Some of these wild side hustles include people who get paid to sleep and people who make tons of money making YouTube videos of them playing with Legos. Pro tip from yours truly if you're looking for extra ways to make money: keep tabs on college studies in sociology and psychology departments. Sometimes, you can get paid hundreds of dollars just for filling out a survey.

    Lord-Legatus. 3 days ago edited 3 days ago friend i went to highshool with became a millionaire because he figured out this service of just maintaining the tire pressure of car fleets of big companies. he confronted them by random checking on the parking lot the pressure of some cars and provided them a data driven calculation how much they could save on gas per car per year by just having the tire pressure regulated.

    Now do i say anything? Nope. I work maybe 10 hours a week because i automated my job and the assistant? Dude is super smart and needs almost no direction. My boss collects while we look like rock stars to him and we are pretty chilled working. Been like this few years and now I'm living in Philippines working while the assistant sits in Mexico.

A local office building owner wanted somebody on-site 24/7 to be the point of contact with first responders if they ever needed to be called. So they hired her to come in to the building in the evening when the maintenance crew was finishing their work. And she would settle up to sleep for the night in a bedroom they'd set aside for her.
