Whatever the reason, parents seem to overestimate how much other people care about their children—vastly. Sure, they've invested their life and soul into their children—good for them… but the fact that having children doesn't make you special is something parents often fail to realize. There have been 117 billion people in the history of human existence, and they all came about in more or less the same way.
Whether it's showing their trapped coworkers one hundred half-blurry photos of their kids that all look more or less the same, trying to get those same coworkers to do their work for them so they can leave early to get the kids from daycare, or dragging their infants and toddlers onto a long haul flight; parents need to realize that no one else cares, wants to do their work for them, or wants to put up with the incessant noise of their children.

This entitled mother failed to understand why other passengers might be annoyed about her noisy toddler on a long-haul flight, taking to social media to blast non-parents for not "having more sympathy" for her. This resulted in her frustrated sister, who had seen enough of this new mother's antics, to respond, putting the mother in her place.
