As somebody who has natural luddite tendencies, I've always regarded the impending AI revolution with suspicion. While it surely has a lot to offer us, the powers that be seem like they would it enjoy it more if it just replaced us.

That being said, I will concur that the issues usually stem from not the tools themselves, but what they get used for. When we truly combine the creativity of people with the technology of machines, hilarious things can happen. The DALL-E craze of not so long ago proved that when it comes to creating silly internet pictures, people and computers are an unstoppable team. I mean, we already knew that, but this just adds another layer.
