I can sometimes struggle to have the right perspective on memes. I forget that not everybody has spent literal years of their life consuming and writing about them in their spare time, appreciating and/or recoiling from the broad spectrum of rapidly developing internet humor. I occasionally cringe when a friend or family member sends me a TikTok that strikes me as aggressively bland and unfunny, but then I remember: they are the normal one in this situation! Oh, how peaceful it must be to be a normie.
While I may never know that peace, I can attempt to replicate it in constrained listicle form. These memes are by no means terrible, but they veer away from encouraging a full-blown obsession. They're just enough to entertain for a couple of minutes, no more or less. That's about as much as you need, if you can approach such things with restraint.
