The last time we did something athletic was when we picked up our doggo to go pee when it was raining outside. Listen, they're not a puppy anymore, so they were heavy! Our backs still hurt from that day. That's the last time we're doing anything athletic ever again.

Sorry, little guy, looks like you lose this one. Or, you can just continue to be squished there uncomfortably until the ride is over, but this doesn't look like a battle you can win. Swallow your pride and sit in the back. There's more space back there for you to lie down anyway!
