Bewildered Delivery App Users React to Shady Practice of 'Ghost Kitchens'

Lazy and hungover people across the world wouldn't know what to do with themselves if takeout delivery apps suddenly vanished off the face of the earth one day. Millions of people enjoy the varied delights of DoorDash, Uber Eats and similar every single day, but it isn't always all it's cracked up to be. Most of us have faced the disappointment of ordering a delectable looking meal only to find out that the reality is somewhat different.

As it turns out, there could be more than one reason for that. Delivery orderers have recently been pondering a viral video (original post here) that reveals how many restaurants on the apps hide behind fake branding in the hopes of upping sales.

While some people were flabbergasted, others claimed to have always been hip to the practice. If you care about the quality of your takeout, it's definitely worth googling the address it's listed under.
