American traditions are sometimes so on-the-nose, that it's easy to miss the obvious joke. Imagine, you've just finished plumping-up with a delicious 10 course Thanksgiving dinner where you might have reminisced on all of the things in your life that you're grateful for... Less than 24hours later, you're fighting off an old man with a stick to grab that last flat screen TV because it's 1" wider than the one you already have hung in your living room.

Although, as a corn-fed American myself, I love Black Friday deals. As a constant reminder throughout the year that I could be buying things for way cheaper, my yeehaw redwhiteandblue brain can't help but sense the feral shopping energy rise up in my soul when I see a 40% off deal on a holiday weekend.
