An Orchard of Memes Ripe For the Plucking

There's nothing like a perfectly ripe piece of fruit. It makes you feel like all the planets have aligned in your favor. Think of all the factors that led to that moment. The farmers who planted the seeds and picked it at an optimum time, the trucks and crates that brought it to your local grocery store. And then you had to hand pick it, bring it home in your tote bag, and place it in your fruit bowl until it's time to shine.

Think of the avocado: A stringy, bitter, grainy slice of the underworld when it's past its prime. An impenetrable green brick when it's before it's time. But a beautiful, wholesome, creamy fruit in its prime. We make a silent prayer every time we buy one, that when we open it, we will be rewarded. I'm happy to say that these memes are in their prime. Consume while fresh.
