The Best Animal Memes of the Week (November 25, 2023)
I recently saw a movie that was kind of about animals but kind of not. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the newest installment in The Hunger Games series, and let me tell you, there were a lot of birds and snakes in this movie. Spoilers alert: I was obsessed with the scene of all of the rainbow snakes breaking free in the arena. I know that you weren't supposed to root for a hoard of snakes on their way to devour teenagers alive, but they were so slay, I couldn't help myself. It was even more satisfying knowing that Snow cheated for Lucy Gray, and it allowed her to have her Rachel Berry moment in the arena, surrounded by thousands of snakes that weren't going to attack her. If you love seeing genetically engineered animals protect a singer-songwriter girly, that movie might just be for you. But alas, this is not an ad.
