Crunchy Mom Gets Roasted for Claiming "Free Birthed Baby" Always Hangs Out Where Her Placenta Was Buried

Hippy moms can have a bad reputation. I have to say that it is often deserved. From the tyrannical bans on processed sugars to jeopardizing health by forgoing modern medicine, they can make decisions that don't seem entirely rational.

At the same time, it's not always a terrible thing to take the crunchier approach to motherhood. When they manage skirt around the life and sanity endangering stuff, this type of parenting can be weird in way that's actually pretty endearing.

This has recently been shown in a viral TikTok, where a free birthing mom showed her child lying on the ground where she claimed her placenta was buried. While she seemed to think this represented a wholesome bond between baby and baby nutrient sack, commenters were quick with some quips about their own relationships with their placenta. At least we can be safe in the knowledge that it wasn't cooked and eaten.
