'It's hilarious and irritating': Egg-monger sells eggspensive eggs but demands customers agree to returning them for no refund if needed, eggsperts chime in

Do you own eggs or get your eggs fresh from a local chicken farmer? The truly are, *chef's kiss,* so good! That being said, sometimes these chicken farmers have inhaled too much of that chicken feed and get a little nutty about selling their eggs—eggspecially right now where eggs are still very eggspensive. (I AM NOT APOLOGIZING FOR THE EGG PUNS. Buckle up, buddies. There will be PLENTY more.) For a quick little chicken lesson, many chickens during the colder months stop laying eggs. It's just part of their evolution, so they can conserve energy. This means that egg-mongers have several months where they don't have a steady supply of their goods. So what can they do?

Well, according to this Reddit story, this egg-monger decided to sell her eggs but make her customers promise to return them if she ran out and needed them, for NO MONEY BACK. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that is not how a business works… OP said she had to blink twice before what the egg-monger said registered in her brain. She admits she still feels like she took some crazy pills after the whole situation. The egg monger got upset at her when she said she would only return them for a refund, and that's IF she hasn't eaten them yet. The egg monger was not happy with her. What a wild world? What are in those eggs??

    This situation is so dumb and I'm so confused. I feel like I'm the crazy one! I have a lady I buy my eggs from, instead of buying eggs from the store.     If she needed the cartons I had, I would have given them to her. I've saved those for her in the past. She was definitely meaning she wanted me to give her the eggs back and that she wouldn't be giving me my money back.

    P 00 QueenKeisha 15 hr. ago ● Chickens do not lay 365 if they live outside in most areas. Once the temperature starts getting colder, they stop laying. They can't hatch eggs in the winter, they wouldn't be able to move to get food, water etc. So when it gets cold enough, they stop laying.
