No doubt, almost every Chinese restaurant in the States serves crab rangoon, but did you know it wasn't born in China? Crab rangoon is actually a full-blown American creation. Despite not being legit Chinese cuisine, we're head over heels for it, and it's taken over our local Chinese spots. And for good reason. I mean, who can resist the crispy, cream cheese, crab combo? It might not sound like a flavor bomb, but trust us, there's something in there that hooks you. And when you dip those bad boys in sweet and sour sauce? Game over. While I was on the hunt for memes, I stumbled upon entire accounts solely devoted to crab rangoon. If that's not enough to make you dial up your local Chinese joint to place an order, I don't know what is.
