Winter is here, everyone! Yes, our cats are snuggling under our blankets, the warm laundry that came out of our dryer is our cat's favorite spot again, and we must be extra careful about leaving any electronics out there because our cats will sit directly on our laptops if we look away for so much as a second. Winter is here, and the snow came with it, and even though our cats have seen it a bunch of times before, their curiosity is back at full force again, and they simply have to touch it.
We don't know if they simply forget that… snow is cold every single year or not, but our cats always seem surprised by it. And you know what? That might be one of the best parts about getting snow - it's seeing our cats' reactions to it. Our cats' immediate reaction of… nope.

Hey, sometimes it's just about taking the first step, right? You'll never know if you will like it until you try. And sometimes, one step is enough to know. It's enough to know that snow is, in fact, very cold and perhaps should be avoided.
This one clearly needed a few more steps to come to the conclusion of the coldness of snow, but the kitty did it. And now, the kitty has created the magical phenomenon known as "the circle of nope". It's like circles in crop fields. You see it, and unless you know what did it, you would probably think it's aliens.
