Ever since that school field trip in the second grade, I have always wanted to travel to space and become an astronaut. The Space Center was my first love… I vividly recall the room with a starship gallery, where I got to see spacecrafts, stars, and planets galore. It was so much fun, I never wanted to leave. Then when I got older and realized I couldn't actually become an astronaut because I didn't have the brains for it, I opted to watch Star Trek instead and PRETEND like I could.
That was also a lot of fun… those warm memories of me huddled under the covers as the rain pitter-pattered outside my foggy window and Picard was booming and barking orders on screen. I thought he was the greatest, and I still do. Data had such a gentle air about him, that I couldn't help but hold a special place in my heart for him, and Worf was a bold character who was an invaluable asset to Picard's team. Oh, TNG, how I miss you so.
