Before working from home and outfitting a workstation in my living room, I never realized how expensive desk chairs could be. After being initially shocked by the multitude of chairs online that cost $1,000+ for an 'ergonomic design', it made me question how important it was to be comfortable for 8 hours a day at my desk. But after spending two minutes in those terrible cheapo chairs (you know the ones at every hotel conference room or call center), I decided it was worth the cash to get something comfy.
In our next story, a teacher got creative with his desk setup design. As we all know, teachers have some shoddy working conditions and are largely expected to fund the specs of their own home room. So u/Brilliant-Delay1410 decided to make their own cozy desk chair out of a recycled seat from his old Jeep Wrangler. That's right, OP had the most comfortable seat in the room, which could be the the coolest, most creative thing ever… right?
However, his jealous principal did not agree.
