'Power move from the pushover': Roommate successfully thwarts a food thief's thievery by totally grossing them out

When you move out of the house for the first time and learn how to live with a roommate, there are a few vital adulthood things that'll remind you that you're not living with your mommy anymore. Firstly, you have to do your own laundry. Secondly, you have pay all of your utility bills. And thirdly, (most importantly) you have to stock your own fridge.

The luxuries you grew accustomed to as a pampered child are long-gone, but it teaches you how to cherish your stuff and keep a close eye on things that are 'yours'. So when you live with a roommate, your food haul hiding in the fridge becomes familiar and VERY precious. Your specifically purchased food items may not-so-mysteriously go missing if you're living with an inconsiderate roommate.
