Stay-At-Home Mom Sued Ex-husband for Alimony and Got 120,000$ in Less Than a Month

Divorces are never easy. Imagine building a life with a person you love only to have to split it back up again and then find a way to exist on your own. Throw in kids, child support and even cheating to the mix… it's definitely not going to go down well. That's why when you hear about people being in a good relationship with their ex, you can't help but feel surprised.

That was exactly my reaction when I read this Reddit story about a stay-at-home mom who divorced her husband after he cheated on her, but still managed to stay friends with him and his new girlfriend. They would even have holiday dinners with each other so the kids wouldn't have to choose between them. That was all fun and games until he started having problems with the child support and alimony payments, and all of a sudden she started seeing his true colors. Good thing she knew exactly what she was doing when she divorced him in the first place.
