You know it is rather shocking how little we actually know about what is going on in our own country right now. Politicians seem to always be looking at the latest developments, the next big issue to tackle. But the truth is that there is a lot of things that are on going, or have simply been forgotten about between presidential terms. Things that have serious implications about our way of life, our quality of life and what policies actually matter in government.

So today we put together a little collection of statistical facts about the grand United States of America as it is today. The good things, the less good things, and the things that have not been given a second thought for decades, because what is democracy if not actually knowing what needs to be improved or changed?
