'You should be ashamed of yourself and embarrassed': Restaurant owner writes scathing response to Karen's 1-star review

The best part of managing or owning a business is that you're the master of your own destiny; success or failure rests primarily on your shoulders. The worst part of managing or owning a business is that you're always going to be at the whim of petty delusional customers who, for some reason, any reason, may at some point perceive that you've wronged them in some way, even if the result they're upset about is directly a result of their own actions. Still, they'll leave reviews and maybe even make posts and videos on social media trying to turn other people against you to join them on their rampage.

  • Entitled people/customers are persistent and dedicated to their cause and have a habit of returning to continue your torture even when they've promised that they're never returning with their business—too blind to realize that you're secretly hoping they never come back…. No amount of money is worth dealing with some customer's behavior. 

    That's why it's always satisfying when an owner claps back at an obviously undeserved 1-star review, putting the entitled person in their place and settling the score.

    acceptable behavior - not in a restaurant or life in general. I was in the middle of a catering order when the floor manager came and got me because she herself was at her wits end.     Re-repost took down cause rumors spread that boss lady would be upset. Guess what she wasn't and loved all the feed back For context two very poorly behaved customers were kicked out by my boss. The customers said and I quote " we will break you like we've broken every other server here" the servers was practically in tears, the floor managers were fed up and so the boss had to step in.
