'I promise to smack that... every chance I get': Lazy Husband Gets Dragged for Inconsiderate Wedding 'Vows'

Weddings rarely happen without their fair share of drama. A union of two people plus their families, finances, and extended social circles is enough to stress anyone out. It's no wonder that the bridezilla is a noted social phenomenon. 

However, what can be even more distressing than a newlywed-to-be going full control freak is when they don't seem to care about their nuptials at all. I'm the biggest critic of the cloying 'best day of your life' narrative, but come on! This is the ultimate commitment to the one that you love. You've got to be kind of excited about it.

Sadly, this didn't seem to be the case for one couple who have astounded the folks on Twitter and beyond. In a TikTok showing them exchanging their vows, the husband gave a performance so tasteless and low-effort that even the officiant couldn't believe his ears. This man is currently in the internet's doghouse, and with good reason.

They're only agreeing to marriage, not out of love or sincerity, but she's there and has been for so long. They relish in embarrassing them on their wedding day because where else is she going? She hasn't left me yet!
