There is nothing that warms our hearts more than an odd animal pairing. When two creatures who aren't really meant to bond with each other in nature become besties, it's like Cupid has hit all of us!

Recently, we've been awed over a new pair of besties on a farm: A Belgian Malinois dog and a new baby calf. The dog is full-grown and used to zooming around the farm with his fellow canine siblings. But recently, the farm's highland cow had a calf and the baby instantly started showing interested in meeting this pup. And guess what? The dog was just as stoked!

The farmers caught the two playing through the fence together and cozying up next to each other. They noticed the animals were both curious about each other, so they thought they would give them a meet and greet.

The introductions have been slow, for everybody's sake. The mama cow is always there keeping an eye on her calf and the farmers are there to make sure everybody involves know this is a zero-pressure situation. The adorable results produce the most wholesome interactions between the two and the farmers share the videos.

They're still a little unsure about each other, but you know after some more time these two are going to be thick as thieves! They still play between the fence together and snuggle up for nap time. And the dog now wants to stay outside all day long so he can make sure his new bestie is okay. We're all in love with the animal duo and we can't wait to see where this friendship blossoms!
