She asked her child to boil some eggs and peep the caption Umm your child doesn't know how to boil eggs because of you not bc they are gen alpha

Trill Hippy @HallTreniece. 17h Replying to @lareinanegraa_ I think some people don't understand that the skills their children lack are their fault like you're showing us you haven't taught your child this skill

June Rems @JuneRems. 21h Replying to @lareinanegraa_ Meanwhile, my Gen Alpha knows how to do his own laundry, clean his room, clean his bathroom, boil his eggs, make himself a grill sandwich, and all because *brace for impact* my wife and I taught him all of this properly.

Travis Flesher @Travis Flesher Follow Replying to @lareinanegraa_ lol, I microwaved steak until someone showed me the way. It's called learning. Or more specifically it's teaching the next generation how to learn. Familiar with the knowledge pie chart? Let's teach our youth of the possibilities they don't even comprehend! ALL POSSIBLE KNOWLEDGE what you don't know you don't know what you know what you know you don't know

AshleyStevens @The_Acumen · 1d Replying to @lareinanegraa_ I hate when parents do posts like these. They aren't funny and the joke is at their kids expense.

Michelle Readatrix @MsMichelleR Follow Replying to @lareinanegraa_ I used to work at an animal shelter. People would turn in their neglected and starving animals saying their kids weren't caring for them. How DOES a child learn responsibility if the adults don't teach it? They saw you ignoring the same empty dog bowls.

beau @allthenastiesss 1d Replying to @lareinanegraa_ also asking someone to hard/soft boil eggs without explaining how is asking for failure. there's multiple steps involved that even full grown adults struggle with

Co Imani @OhHeyImani_. 1d Replying to @lareinanegraa_ This reminds me of when my dad was posting a bunch of memes saying millennials didn't know how to drive a stick. I was like... literally who would be the one to teach me that, FATHER?? He never taught me although he claims it to be so necessary.

mea @dijonistaa. 1d Replying to @lareinanegraa_ this was a completely logical thing to do if someone didn't know how to hard boil an egg. and this technique is called a poached egg. she should've told the child how to do it

CrabbyAshley @CrabbyAshley. 23h Replying to @lareinanegraa_ I was an adult chopping an onion for my mom and she said, "who taught you to cut an onion?" "Not you!" She backed off real quick. This kid can't be older than 12, so whose fault is it?

Quiddity @QuiddityJones. 1d Replying to @lareinanegraa_ ...That's poached eggs. Bad on the parent that didn't realise that cooking technique.

Rei The Overthinkin... @reiyujigo Replying to @lareinanegraa_ "My kid can't boil eggs Follow 99 Urm...did you show them? Because when I wanted to cook my own eggs, my mom showed me. When I wanted to learn how to make pancakes, she showed me. You....you gotta TEACH kids, y'know? What's common sense to you hasn't clicked for them yet
  • 21
Myles @deadporg. 1d Replying to @lareinanegraa_ The oldest gen Alpha is 13. You clowning a child for not knowing how to cook? That's something they learn from their parents.
  • 22
Polly Pocketknife @polypocketknife Follow this is literally so logical. kids know you don't eat the egg shells. every other way to prepare eggs starts with cracking them. if you've never seen a boiled egg before why would you assume the shell stays on during boiling. why can't adults just give explicit direction to kids?

  • 25
HD oxtail hater @beifongsss. 1d thank you, everyone complains about gen alpha/young gen z and acts as if their shortcomings are inherent to the year they were born and not the fact that many of today's parents are quite frankly not parenting at all
