The best people to buy holiday gifts for are the ones that aren't even people. They're dogs. I was out Christmas shopping recently, overwhelmed by the prospect of getting all my adult family members' gifts, when I happened upon a pile of adorably festive chew toys. Perfect, I thought. I will purchase one as a gift to the family dog. Great, but that doesn't take care of the rest of the family. And the dog doesn't even know it's Christmas. Ugh, people are so difficult. And don't try to suggest that the dog toy can be a gift to its owner. That's lame, and not how gifting works. Like if you buy a onesie for a new mom. Sweet, but that's not a gift for the mom.
Anyway, it's nice to give your little fur child some love this holiday season too. Even if it's just a scrap of Honey Baked ham.
