We have entered one of the weirdest parts of the calendar year: a measly, scrawny little week in time that makes you question your reality. I'm talking, of course, about that weird little week between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. We are currently in the middle of TWO, count 'em, two long weekends, which may or may not do a number on the productivity of the world's workers. I'm ready to sing that song about auld acquaintance more than anyone, but I just have to get through these next few days.
I can't be too bummed because 2024 is right around the corner, and I couldn't be more excited. The thing that most excites me is that 2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of 2014, which is so believable and unbelievable at the same time. 2014 was a year when I made a boatload of resolutions. I'd like to think I've accomplished all of those goals, but who's to say? Only that weird New Year's baby knows, and I'm not going to ask him.
