It is not a joke when people say one of the biggest tests of how strong a relationship is, is moving in together. Each person in a relationship has their own baggage they bring when they move to a new place, especially with a partner. And I'm not talking only about the physical baggage, even though that is a struggle of its own, I'm talking about the emotional baggage, the set of ways they were brought up by, and anything else they discover is important to them in their own space. 

Sometimes even the smallest of things can seem like a big deal. When I moved in with my boyfriend, I found out how important it is to me that the sink will be clear of dishes right after we finish a meal, but my boyfriend wouldn't mind leaving the dirty dishes in the sink even for two days. That's just one example, each of us has countless other preferences, some silly and some really important to us. So what do you do when you can't find a middle ground?

Like this Reddit story, where a girlfriend reaches a breaking point when her boyfriend won't stop eating her food. Which I know might sound kind of funny, but personally I could relate. He constantly eats her food, stuff she buys specifically for herself since she is "a picky eater", and continues to leave his own food untouched. She went as far as trying to stash her food in locked boxes around the house so he wouldn't be able to find it.
